At Woodland Acres Farm, every day begins with the sound of happy animals greeting the morning sun. From the gentle hums of our alpacas to the cheerful clucking of chickens, farm life is full of rhythm, responsibility, and reward.
Our alpacas are more than just adorable faces—they provide soft, hypoallergenic fleece that we transform into yarn, socks, and other handmade goods. Their calm nature makes them a joy to care for and a favorite among our visitors during farm tours.
Goats, on the other hand, keep things lively. Whether it’s playful kids bouncing around or the steady supply of fresh milk, they add energy and sustenance to the farm. That milk becomes creamy cheese, probiotic-rich kefir, and refreshing yogurt—products our community has grown to love.
Our avian friends on the farm are always a joy to watch. Upon opening their house, the ducks and geese make a wild run to the pond just longing for the first swim of the day. Their cute waddles and adorable quacks are a sight to see and a joy to listen to. On the other side of the farm the beautiful chickens eagerly await the day to scratch in the earth hoping to find every delicious wiggly bug to fill their bellies. And of course the rooster reminds us early in the
morning it’s time to get out of bed!
Of course, no farm would be complete without a garden. Ours produces seasonal vegetables and herbs, from crisp spring greens to hearty autumn squash. Each crop is grown with care, using natural methods that respect the land and nourish our neighbors.
Farming isn’t always easy, but it’s a lifestyle built on passion, sustainability, and connection. We take pride in sharing this journey—whether through open farm days, educational workshops, or simply offering wholesome products from our hands to yours.
So the next time you crack open a farm-fresh egg or wrap up in alpaca wool, remember: behind every product is a story of care, tradition, and a family farm that’s growing alongside its community.
