At Woodland Acres Farm, we believe in using every corner of our homestead to create something meaningful. Alongside our animals, our bees and garden help us grow fresh food and support a thriving ecosystem.

Our Beehives

Our bees are more than just honey makers — they are vital pollinators for our garden, orchard, and surrounding farmland. By keeping healthy, active hives, we support biodiversity and ensure strong seasonal harvests.

Bees provide natural pollination for our vegetables and flowers
Honey production is small-scale and seasonal (future farm store item!)
Beeswax will also be available for handmade products in the future

Farm Garden & Greenhouse

We grow a variety of produce right here on the farm, with seasonal harvests available for purchase. Our greenhouse allows us to extend the growing season and keep fresh food on hand throughout the year.

Seasonal produce includes:

Spring greens and herbs
Summer vegetables like tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers
Late-season squash, pumpkins, and root vegetables

Sustainable Practices

We prioritize natural growing methods and aim to keep our homestead as sustainable as possible. Fertilizer from our animals enriches the soil, while our bees boost crop yields by pollinating the plants.

This cycle — from animals to soil to garden — is what makes Woodland Acres Farm more than just a place to visit; it’s a small ecosystem full of charm and care.

At Woodland Acres Farm, we have a passion for animal care of all types and sizes. Starting with just a flock of Pekin ducks in spring 2022 we have grown to include a small herd of alpacas, Nigerian dwarf and Saanen goats, Buff geese and more Pekin ducks, and Easter Egger chickens.
