Thank you for your interest in our Farm! To help make the most of your visit we put together a few key notes for you!
Visits to the Farm are free! We do ask for a $5 donation to feed the animals and will provide a small cup for food for you.
If you plan on taking a Farm tour we recommend closed toe comfortable shoes. The walkways are graveled and can sometimes be uneven.
We kindly ask no food or drink be brought on the Farm tours.
If you would like to purchase our delicious raw goat milk, you may want to bring a cooler to keep it cold.
The Farm has a strict bio-security policy. For the health and safety of our animals no outside animals are permitted in livestock areas or on the Farm tours. If you are accompanied by a service animal, please speak to a member of the staff so we may accommodate you.
No smoking of any kind is allowed on the Farm (including vaping, e-cigarettes, marijuana, etc.).
For protection from predators, the perimeter of the Farm has an electric fence that is on only at night. We kindly ask no pulling or climbing on the predator fence or any other fences.
To preserve the clean room environment and for sanitation purposes, not all areas of the Farm are open to the public (such as the Milk House).
And the legal stuff ….
The Farm is a working agricultural operation and inherent hazards exist throughout the property, including but not limited to: animal waste and biological material that may be present on walkways, the farm perimeter, wooded areas, and other surfaces; uneven terrain; farm equipment and vehicles; livestock and free-range poultry; fencing, gates, and other structures; and natural conditions including mud, ice, and standing water. Please note that animal waste may be transported on footwear. By visiting you voluntarily assume all risks associated with being present on the Farm premises and agree to exercise due care for your own safety and the safety of others while on the property.
The Farm is a pollinator friendly environment and maintains active honey bee hives on the property. Bees, wasps, and other stinging insects/flies may be present throughout the Farm premises, including in and around areas accessible to visitors. Bee stings can cause severe allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, which can be life-threatening. By visiting, you understand that if you have a known allergy to bee stings or other insect stings, you visit the Farm at your own risk and should carry appropriate medication (such as an epinephrine auto-injector) at all times while on the property. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with the presence of bees and other stinging insects on the Farm premises and release the Farm from any liability arising from bee stings or insect-related allergic reactions.
Per the MDAR – Dairy Division, the Farm is required to keep a database of all raw milk purchases. An initial Waiver will need to be completed at the first sale per customer.
Please note: The Farm is NOW open for visits most Saturdays 11:00 – 1:00 and weekday by appointment only. If you’re interested in visiting during one of our events, please contact us directly to schedule your time.
